My name is Fern Emily Shaw, my friends call me Fern, and strangers call me Emily - which is a mystery to me because I introduce myself as Fern yet they revert to Emily; maybe its because Fern is indeed a 'strange' name, what with it being a (flowerless) shrub and all.
Anyway! That's me in the middle, with my parents at my graduation on the 11th of April 2013. I chose this photo because up 'til now, my whole life has been school, university, and I am currently busy with my postgrad (BCom Honours in Marketing Management). This photo essentially represents one of my biggest life achievements to date - I had survived three years of university and graduated with distinction.
